2021 IEEE the 6th Optoelectronics Global Conference was held concurrently with the 23nd China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen from September 15-18, 2021 with combination of virtual and onsite conference. Although, affected by the COVID-19, 2020 IEEE the 5th Optoelectronics Global Conference was held concurrently with the 22nd China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen from September 07-11, 2020 with combination of virtual and onsite conference. 2019 IEEE the 4th Optoelectronics Global Conference was held concurrently with the 21th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen. There were around 200 professionals attended the conference, who were from Austrialia, Hong Kong, UK, USA, Singapore, Japan, etc. The papers accepted and presented at OGC2019 have been published by IEEE, which were included into IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI Compendex and Sccopus.

The big leaps in optoelectronic technology and academia have drawn increasing attention from the industry community which is always in searching of innovative solutions. The Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC) was created to pave the way connecting optoelectronic academia and industry as well as connecting China and the rest of the world.
2018 the 3rd Optoelectronics Global Conference was held concurrently with the 20th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen. The conference aimed to promote interaction and exchange of various disciplines among professionals in academia and industry at home and abroad. In addition, it also served to turn technologies into industrial applications. There were around 200 professionals attended the conference.
OGC 2018 was an ideal platform for scholars, researchers and professionals to exchange insights and discuss the development of optoelectronics industry. It was a perfect gathering to learn about new perspectives, technologies and trends which might pushes the boundaries of the technology and eventually creates a broader future for optoelectronics applications. 4 excellent plenary speeches and 8 sub-sessions were held during the conference with the topics covering precision optics, optical communications, lasers, infrared applications, fiber sensors and so on. OGC 2018 was fruitful and praised.

OGC2016 was an annual event co-located with China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE)
http://www.cioe.cn/en/ in Shenzhen China. The aim of this conference was to foster interactions among broad
disciplines in the optoelectronics family. In 2016, more than 3,000 exhibitors and 85,000 delegates
attended CIOE. OGC 2016 was a perfect platform for international academics, researchers, practitioners and students
working in the Optoelectronics areas to discuss new developments, concepts and practices, and to identify
synergies in research directions that lead to broader and deeper applications of Optoelectronics.
In OGC2016 , all major areas in photonics technologies were covered in talks, along with invited/special sessions.
