The big leaps in optoelectronic technology and
academia have drawn increasing attention from the industry community
which is always in searching of innovative solutions. IEEE Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC) was created to
pave the way to connecting optoelectronic academia and industry as well as
connecting China and the rest of the world.
2021 IEEE the 6th Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC 2021) will be held concurrently with the 23rd China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen, China, from September 15, 2021 to September 18, 2021. OGC 2021 is sponsored by IEEE Photonics Society and Guangzhou Photonics Chapter, hosted by Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology.
conference aims to promote interaction and exchange of various
disciplines among professionals in academia and industry at home and
abroad. In addition, it also serves to turn technologies into industrial
applications. It’s expected that 300-500 professionals will attend the
OGC will be an ideal platform for scholars, researchers and professionals to exchange insights and discuss the development of the optoelectronics industry. It will be a perfect gathering to learn about new perspectives, technologies and trends which might push the boundaries of the technology and eventually creates a broader future for optoelectronics applications.
9 symposia are being arranged in the conference with the topics covering precision optics, optical communications, lasers, infrared applications, and fiber sensors. Welcome the professionals, experts, managements and students from the universities, research institutions, military enterprises, and optoelectronic companies to attend the conference.
Good News! OGC 2020 conference proceedings have been included into IEEE Explore :https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/conhome/9260411/proceeding
Important Note: As some cities are experiencing new wave of COVID-19 these days, following the regulations and advisories from governments and public health organizations, the 2021 IEEE the 6th Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC 2021) on August 31 to September 3, 2021 is rescheduled to be held in September 15 to September 18, 2021 at the same venue.

Accepted and registered papers will be published by IEEE Conference Publication.
After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers after proper registration and presentation, will be published in the conference Proceedings by Conference Publishing Services, and reviewed by the IEEE Conference Publication Program for IEEE Xplore.
Authors of papers presented in this Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC) and within the scope of Sensors in the field of "Sensing with Infrared and Terahertz Technologies" may submit a technically extended version to the sepcial issue of Sensors. As an open access journal, Sensors has an Article Processing Charge of 2200 CHF for accepted papers.
The Special Issue website can be reached at https://www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors/special_issues/SITT
The extended papers from conference should fulfill the following requirements:
1. The paper should have more than 50% new data and content. It will be much better if the Title and Abstract are different with that of conference paper, as that they can be differentiated in various databases.
2. The conference paper should be cited and mentioned in the first page of the paper.
3. If the authors do not hold the copyright of the published conference paper, authors should seek the appropriate permission from the copyright holder.
4. Authors are asked to disclose that it is conference paper in cover letter and include a statement on what has been changed compared to original conference paper.
Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220) is the leading international peer-reviewed open access journal on the science and technology of sensors and applications. Its Impact Factor 2020 is 3.576 and CiteScore 2020 is 5.8. It now ranks 14/64 (Q1) in "Instruments & Instrumentation"; 26/83 (Q2) in "Chemistry, Analytical"; 82/273 (Q2) in "Engineering, Electrical & Electronic" from JCR. Open Access increases visibility of scientific researches. In 2020, Sensors received 15.7 million full text views, see https://www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors/stats.
Accepted Abstracts will be invited to present at the conference, the abstract will not be published.
Accepted full papers presented at the conference will be published into the conference proceedings.

Studies show that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at keeping you from getting COVID-19. Experts also think that getting a COVID-19 vaccine may help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19. The participants are suggested to know the signs of infection and key things to know about COVID-19 vaccines:
All registered speakers will have the opportunity to submit their pre-recorded presentation regardless of geography or travel restrictions but we continue to encourage speakers to participate in-person to allow for greater interaction with attendees. Speakers who provide a video for presentation in their session will still have their paper published. Speakers can also recruit a colleague to act as a proxy to deliver their presentation. Selected sessions will also have live speaker participation via video-conferencing. For more details, contact email@example.com.
